Products: PRODUCTION SYSTEM
We have developed an efficient production system to make our two
products: one juice
and one nectar.
Both are processed with noni cultivated in the Caribbean zone
of Costa Rica with traditional organic methods, without use of
any kind of agrochemical.
The fruit are selected and harvests one by one in its exact point
of ripeness. Then it is washed and stored in closed casks during
almost two months until it is completely soft. This is the traditional
method employed by the Polynesian indigenous since this is the
way to made it richer in active ingredients. Modern investigations
have confirmed what the indigenous healers have been knowing for
thousands years when confirming that to older the fruit facilitates
the polysaccharides present in noni to be synthesized and deposited
in the juice. Furthermore, to older the fruit causes that the
sugars transforms into organic acids, producing a low ph stable
juice, reason why it is difficult that ferments or degenerate.
Since noni practically does not contain sugars, instead of taking
place alcohol or vinegar, beneficial alkaloids and amino-acids
take place.
The noni juice obtained this way is send to the prestigious Pharmaceutical
Lisán
Laboratories to manufacture SOMANONI®. Those laboratories,
one of the most important Pharmalaboratories of CR, have a long
experience facing natural products and are accepted by so strict
and prestigious international agencies as the Administration of
Drugs and Foods of the U.S.A. In Lisán Laboratories the
juice is pasteurized and bottled in hot in glass bottles, the
best way to guarantee its perfect conservation.
Our
Products: SOMANONI JUICE
Our noni juice consists of the juice produced by the maturing
of the fruit of noni. We just pasteurize it and do bottled in
hot. That's all.
It is indicated for those people whom like to taste the flavor
of the noni juice as the fruit produces it. Its flavor is very
intense and resembles the wine of strong varieties like the garnacha,
with smell of goat cheese. His practically null sugar levels make
it ideal for people with problems of diabetes type I. Here we

Our
Products: SOMANONI NECTAR
Because of the intense flavor of noni pure, disagreeable to many
people, we decided to prepare a nectar of noni adding a 8% of
bee honey to our noni juice. This way we have obtained a product
with all the benefits of noni, but with a pleasant flavor, to
which even children can be accustomed. The honey selected to produce
our nectar comes from producers guaranteed by the CINAT
(Tropical Apicultural Research Center, pertaining to
the National University of CR), located in Alajuela, where one
of the best tropical honeys of the world takes place.
The 8% of honey added to our nectar leaves a sugar levels similar
to those of an orange juice. Therefore, because the so low amounts
of noni recommended to stabilize the sugar levels in blood, any
person with diabetes problems allowed to ingest fruit juices could
consume our nectar without problems. Here we present the table
