TICO CATALANA S. A. is a Costa Rican company founded on 1989 by
catalan people interested in seeds ground. After several years
working in this area, in 2002 Tico Catalana S.A. renews its board
of directors and redirects its activity towards investigation,
production and exportation of natural products, accrediting itself
as an exporting company in PROCOMER (Promotional Agency of
Foreign Trade of Costa Rica), and registering its trade name,
SOMANONI®, at the OAMI (Trade Mark Registry of the European
Community). Actually it has an open Branch in Manises, Valencia,
Spain, to facilitate its exports to Spain and Europe.
From this branch has been transacted all the necessary permissions
to import SOMANONI® within the EEC. This has credit to TICO
CATALANA S.A. as the first Latin American company authorized to
import and commercialize noni juice within the European Community
market.

From
it's restart in 2002, TICO CATALANA S.A. has bet to facilitate
the access of the excellent Costa Rican agricultural production
to the highest technologies in the nutritional product processing;
with two high quality noni
products on the market. This way we introduce SOMANONI®
in the last Exposalud Fair in Barcelona.
Our
challenge is to face the Economical Globalization from a country
pertaining to the Third World, offering products of superior quality
to those offered by the most economically powerful countries because
we have better raw materials and the same standard of quality
established in a world-wide level.
